I'm so excited - everything is going great guns!!!

Just a quick update. Well i have hit the halfway mark in my pregnancy - currently 21wks Weee

As far as the weight goes i have been fairly lucky i think, have only put on 2.8kgs. Have been trying to do my best to eat well but will be honest in saying i have had some bad foods during this time. Peppermint chocolate and salt'n'vinegar chips have been my demons through my pregnancy so far.

Hubby and i found out we'll be having a little girl - which we are excited about. Our little girls name will be - Leila Kaitlyn Exercise1

Its so hard to believe i only have 19wks to go - the past 16wks have flown by.

Those next 19 weeks will fly by (all except those last couple where you'll become impatient and start begging them to 'get it out!' Lol)

Lol, yes I'm sure you'll have to watch the last few weeks. With all the waiting, discomfort, and stuff.

My wife is slowly building up a pregnancy/birth information site which will be alot like FOH only for pregnancy. Check it out: http://www.pregnancytobirth.com

It's only in the very early stages so far but the content is building each week.

Yep comfort is not something i have seen alot of lately - specially during sleep...lmao It's the body's cruel way of preparing me i think.

Re: I'm so excited - everything is going great guns!!!

Cheers everyone. I was just thinking i haven't taken any preggy pics yet either, i best do that before too long. Gotta have atleast one pic to keep Grin1

Yeah i have to agree with the pillow part, although my body pillow is starting to lose it poofiness..lol...it needs a bit more stuffing i think.  I have been having a bit of trouble at night with my cysts, its like she knows they are there on my ovaries and kicks/punches straight for them. [:'(] Little meanie..lol

I think i have a bit a fluid retention in my legs as i have what i call dent leg...when i press down on my shin bone area it leaves a dent Shock2 Will try putting a pillow under my feet at night.

Re: I'm so excited - everything is going great guns!!!

8wks to go! weighed in tonight and i've offically hit the 10kg mark for weight gain...feels weird putting weight on when all i want to do is lose it, although i know its all for a good cause. But i know it could of been heaps better as i have eaten alot of the wrong foods, ahhh i got to stop beating myself up and just really get to it after bubs is born. My plan is to spend a year to a year and a half in cracking right down on my bad lifestyle habits and lose weight then start trying for bubs number 2.

I'm having a baby shower on the 7th of july and instead of presents i have asked each person to bring a family recipe which i'll then compile into a recipe book for Leila which she can use when she is older.

I have been instructed to avoid stairs and to walk slowly by the doc as i have been getting servere cramps. Its strange walking slow as i get impatient specially in shopping centres i just want get in there walk at a decent pace and get out - unless i'm looking at baby clothes then i can spend all day there hahaha

Well i'm off to have some dinner, which i wont mention as its somewhat unhealthy - brooke a friend is staying with me while hubby is away and she is cooking tonight. 18yr olds idea of dinner is something they can cook in a instant hahah, smells like snags and chips. I'll just eat half of whatever she dishes up i think, that way i'm not being to rude.

    Take care Banana
