Re: Hello my little unloved journal...

    Hi Lana,

How has your sleep been the last couple of nights?  Is Leila the reason for the lack of slumber or is it something else?  My first son didn't sleep through until he was 18 months, I had to return to work and still get up 5-10 times a night to resettle him - it's very demanding and not good for either of us.  In reflection, I should've stamped my foot and insisted on help like a sleep school or something.  I was stricter with my second child and learned to leave him alone to settle himself so he slept through from 8 weeks and I avoided that bad sleeping pattern being established.  Now I have my third son, Liam who's two weeks old, and I'm facing getting the good "feed, play' sleep" routines again.

Hope you're getting some rejuvenating sleep, and you're not alone at all with the broken nights sleep.  Good luck with WW, too.

Re: Hello my little unloved journal...

I have always been a terrible sleeper - mostly with getting to sleep.  Nah Leila actually slept really well that night it was just that Travis was away and I really dont handle being in a house by myself very well - never have.  Little miss has been a bit all over with her sleep as I think she may be teething but still no sign of any pegs!!  She has been waking herself up alot due to moving about the bed, she is a little wiggle worm!

Tonight I had my first week weighin at WW's and I have had a loss of 1.4kg!! yay...I dont expect to lose that every week though. And will be happy with any loss each week.

We spent the long weekend at Karijini National Park hiking in and out of gorges so I think that helped out heaps. Mind you my body is still sore! Specially the thighs. Weee

Hmmm missy has discovered the paper bin...oh well..haha  She is not at all tired, little demon Devil1

Ok I'll be back in a few days to report in on how i'm going.

Re: Hello my little unloved journal...

Could I be so bold as to suggest a hubby substitute?  Ah, the possibilities!  But I was going to suggest a nice dog.  They're proven to calm owners with their presence and might help you feel more secure at home.  Perhaps you already have a dog and the hair everywhere is a pain.  Just a thought.

Very good with the WW, I've toyed with the idea of going back but I think I'll attempt it on my own first.

Re: Hello my little unloved journal...

haha since we have two doggies I think I should take up the hubby substitute idea Lol

I have been pretty lazy this week so far and have not done any exercise. I have two sore feet and find it hard to walk without pain but even still I should not be letting that make me lazy bums!  Not sure what I have done with one foot as it has been sore for a while now - almost feels like something is broken but my foot has not swollen or anything so I am unsure - next visit to the doc's I will have to mention it.  My other foot I kicked into a chair as I was walking past and I'm pretty sure I have broken my middle toe - swollen, bruised and can not move it - have not bothered with docs for it as I dont think there is alot they can really do with toes except strap them.

Leila is watching her favorite show Lazy Town, which is kinda of cute. She loves the dancing parts.

well done you - either way it's all good!

mine is today. had a very bad 24 hours - got spastic sunday night (arghhhh), was hung over all day monday, but have pulled it all together. i'm not expecting miracles today but have decided to "suck it up princess" and just face the music.

will let u know how i go. what's your fave thing so far??

Re: Hello my little unloved journal...

haha 'Suck it up Princess'.  That has actually been my motto for myself since we moved to the Pilbara Lol

Not sure if I have found anything favorite so far, although I am finding the whole points system to be really great and easy to follow.  Mind you I do have a favorite treat from WW's already...lol...typical really isn't it!  The Rich Toffee Bars are yummo Grin1

It didn't hit me untill today but i'm 500grams shy of losing 10kgs Weee   I dont feel like I have lost ten kilos although there are those few clothing items I now fit back into which is good - but unfortunately they are all my fugly wear around the house items...oh well can't get to fussy now can I.

We are going to Perth soon to stay at Trav's parents house and Leila and I will be in Perth for a month - that will be a major test for me!  It will be a tough month but I can do it.... 'Suck it up Princess' will be said many times over in that month!! Weights1

At the moment I have been keeping busy making Leila's first birthday invites, i'll have to post the finished product on facebook.

Okies I'm off to have lunch...

    Take care xx

Re: Hello my little unloved journal...

Oh my god that was exhusting! I just went over and read all my posts since joining and I couldn't believe how fast the time has flown..wow

Another thing that I noticed was how much my weight has been up and down - up and down..lol... bloody hell Raspberry

    12/3/06 - 101.4kg

    9/9/06 - 109.8

    5/11/06 - 109kg

    13/12/06 - 110.4kg (just found out i was preggers)

    24/9/07 - 122.2kg

    7/11/07 - 124.8kg

    26/11/07 - 121.8

What a roller coaster! Spewin at myself though when I look back to see I was 101.4kg back then and did not get serious about my weightloss and then I just watched it spiral out of control...ahhh makes me sick Vomit1

I'm really happy that I'm pretty focused this time round and so far I have been pretty good. Not getting to harsh with myself and realizing that I can't be perfect and that I can and will do it! Just slowly... Although the whole overnight dream sounds great Lol  But unrealistic. Step

I'm really nervous about my weigh in tomorrow and I think thats why I am dribbling alot on here tonight - sorry...lol  I had a huge loss last week but was ill with some gastro virus, so i'm affraid of having a huge gain or something this week.  I'm hoping to of stayed around my weighin weight or atleast close to it, but if not oh well...no biggie!  I'm not going to let it get to me this time round and I certainly will not let it control my eating - emotional eating that is...but you all knew what I meant Big Smile

We are now flying to Perth on the 11th of July and Leila and I will be in Perth for a month - so I really need to stick to my guns during that time and not give in to temptations!!!!!!!

Ok I'm off for now, I will be in straight after my meeting to report in on my progress.

Ahh I actually feel better after typing away my anxieties Cool1

    Take it easy Banana

Re: Hello my little unloved journal...

I soooooooooooo completely hear you on the watching it spiral out of control.

My weight has been sooooooooo erratic in recent times but I suspect quitting smoking has contributed a small amount to the latest change.

I had no weight change last week - not up nor down - which is massive as i normally don't weigh the same 2 minutes in a row, let alone 2 weeks.

I have been awesomely on track this week (did 2 walks today! and i've booked in for clinical pilates!!) and so whatever thursday brings, i know i've had an excellent week. Even if there is a change UP.

My pants are getting really baggy on my around the thighs and bottom, so I know SOMETHING is shifting!

Good luck for you next weigh in!

    xxxx

ps. I had my babies 16 & 12 & half years ago. Took me a loooooooooooong while to finally "get it" IYKWIM!

    xx
