jomarti: but there is alot of info in the links I gave earlier that have evidence towards this direction.
Personally it seemed of little relevance because
I am uncertain that 14 is a statistically significant number.
Some of the R squared vales are very poor
There is no mention of a control group
48 hour fast is probably not typical of the usual period of fasting while asleep
The average BMI was under 25 so the study group are of “normal” weigh and don’t need to lose weight
Lyle McDonald did not return any results for the searches of academic literature I performed.
While Google did give a lot of results for Lyle McDonald just because someone is well represented in Google doesn’t meant that their message is scientifically valid and proven.
When I Google my name I get 1.2 million responses (the first 2 results are even me!!)
I must admit that there seems a vast amount of information presented on nutrition and weight loss but some of it seems scientifically unproven.
Trying to decide what information is good and what is not good seems challenging.
