    Re: Chocaholic's progress report

He-he, thanks mel!! No, like I said, he's a really nice guy - and a killer instructor- unfortunately he doesn't teach classes at my gym any more - I think they din't pay him enough!!!!He's actually going ou with one of the girls I was talking to ( a shool mum) so that's why he butted in - and was being a little smartass!!! I have a feeling he could tell that his comments would just spur me on - and when I said that I eat an entire family block in one go, he acted all shocked, so his gf said "You know, it's like those forty Krispy Kreme donuts you ate...." ROTFL [ROTFL]  and the other girl said "oh, I haven't tasted them" and he said  "well, I'd give you one, but all I've got is an empty box..... " so, it was all light hearted!!! The annoying thing is that he is all muscle, no fat, and his gf has told me before that he does like the odd burger or two reasonably often!!!!! Alison

ooh wouldn't be great to have a metabolism like that huh? Big Smile [:D]

Well I hope it's worked and spurred you on...but just remember too that sometimes by avoiding your fav foods, it actually makes you binge more! Good Luck! Big Smile [:D]

We'll be pushing for you here to do it anyway!

    Re: Chocaholic's progress report

Yep , I know ( from experience Embarrassed [:$]) about the bingeing, but this is honestly the only way I can do it with chocolate. I've done it before - about 5 1/2 years ago I gave it up for 7 months, and I really didn't miss it.....then, when I'd done that and lost 15kg I found out I was pregnant with #4!!!! Well, at least I KNOW that ain't gonna happen again!!!!!!!ROTFL [ROTFL]  Anyway, my point was....I didn't crave or miss it at all once it was sort of out of my system! Then, hopefully I can just eat a little bit at a time!!Wink [;)] Alison

    I'm in awe!

Umm....I DON'T THINK SO!!!!!! You've achieved so much more than me!!!!

Anyway, had a little chocky binge this arvo .....(you knew I had to do it, didn't you?!) I didn't eat as much as I normally would - but I won't go into detail- and funnily enough, although it was nice, I thought "you know, I don't think I'm really gonna miss this that much...." !!!!!!!!!!!! (hmmmm.....ask me about that in about 2 weeks- lol!) So, now the gauntlet has been thrown my way, I'm looking forward  to the challenge - BRING IT ON!!! Smile [:)] Alison

    Re: Chocaholic's progress report

Well, I was reasonably good, certainly not perfect, but no choc since Tuesday after my little feast, so that's a start!!! Did the 8km run yesterday, in 39:32, which I'd really like to improve on each time, but I'm not exactly sure how to do that.....so I guess I should actually investigate that!!!I didn't run any faster than my 10km runs, which I'm guessing I really should have! Anyway, it was a gorgeous day, I relly enjoyed it, and my new runners with pink on them were lovely!! Oh, and brunch ( skinny latte, scrambled eggs on sour dough) with no kids was most enjoyable!!!Big Smile [:D]

It's school hols now in Vic, so that means 4 little treasures @ home with me for 2 weeks! It also makes it harder to go to the gym (big kids can't go to the creche!) and harder to eat well! I'm going to try to get to the gym for the 6:10am classes 3 times this week. Taking the boys to see "Hoodwinked" this arvo, and daughter is going to see a "Fairies" show with my sister and her little girl, then staying the night. So, I'll have to bring a can of diet coke to the movies - no chocolate, that's for sure!!!Grin1 [grin1]

Have a great week everyone!!!Big Smile [:D] Alison

Hi Alison - your photo was taken on the run and you can check it out by clicking on the link in the SIS page for sporting images. Search by your name and there you have it.  Good action shots!  Jane too, but not of me, thank god!!  It was good fun.
