Re: that was a mouth full

Unfortunately i'll be using that extra half hour to have breakfast in, as before i was home by 7.30am and would then have brekkie. Now i dont get home till after 10.30 so i will need to eat before i go. I used a polisher today and oh my gosh, i was dripping in that much sweat my hair was so wet - just as if i had stepped out of the shower. Good for your arms aswell pulling it from side to side. I have some cleaning to do each day and then i have paperwork to attend too, the cleaning isn't to bad about 12 offices and just the foodhall floor and then in the afternoon shift i have the medical centre. I think i may have to get myself alittle towel for when i do the polishing as you sweat so much, i wonder how many calories i am burning!

Well i'm off to finally get something to eat, wasn't suppose to start new position untill this afternoon but the person filling in for it didn't show up so i got thrown in the deep end this morning.

Re: that was a mouth full

Ohh my arms are so sore today, i decided to lift all the chairs to get in a good polish this morning. Took me about 30mins to get them all up then about the same to get them down, they have some weight to them so my arms have had a major workout this morning. I'll be right once my body gets use to it.

Well i'm off to have some lunch then head back to work later on today. Hope everyone is going well with their goals! Smile [:)]

Re: that was a mouth full

Travis is going to help me with my weights workout tomorrow as i have been lazy and haven't been doing much exercise due to sore bod from work.(mind you all the walking and what not is still exercise, but i dont class work as exercise)

But even though its a good excuse its still just what it is - an excuse! I will not be able to lift any major weight but i will do the best i can; will have to find a way to warm up without being on my feet as when i get home i can barely walk. If i sit down even for a mintue it kills to get back up again - maybe i just wont sit down when i get home and get straight into it or something. Well its nearly nine so its bedtime for me, have to be at work by 4.30am to catch the the prep ladies. Will post tomorrow night about weight session.

hello little journal just letting you know i am still here! Have been so busy at work its not funny, have been doing three times the work i should be as i have a few cleaners who cant be bothered coming in or even bother to call Angry [:@]

This morning i started at 4am just so i could do half of my own work then catch up on someone elses work, its making me so angry i feel so buggered when i get home i cant be bothered doing anything. Hopefully i will have some new cleaners soon - ones that dont mind a bit of work!

Re: No such word as Can't. Lana's New Lifestyle!

Ok i think i got my hours down packed now - pretty much feel blahh everyday when i get home but i just have to force myself to do some exercise!!!

I will have to find my step counting thingy so i can see how much walking around i do with this job, i know its doing something for me as i sweat like a pig everyday. Have been doing pretty much 6hrs in the mornings and then about 3hrs in the afternoons, and i am on my feet for that entire time while i'm at work. My feet are so sore when i finally stop for the day, so i think i will have to do my exercise mid morn/early afternoon as when i get home at 6.30 i have dinner, shower then bed by 8.30/9pm.

Hardly have much of a life working full time but i didnt have much of one before so its no big deal i guess, i should be lucky i get a few hours off between each shift.

    Poor Chicky!

Can you get nurse type shoes? My twin swears by them as she is heavy like me and on her feet rushing around all day. she loves them alot!

I have done split shifs before... hated them. I love my aftersnoons to myself. (bf works late)

Was thinking about nurse's shoes, use to have some when i worked in aged care they were good. Will have to check them out again i think. Got some new gel arch supports for the shoes i currently have so will see how these go in the mean time. I really should see a podiatrist.
