    Setting up at Home

I've been looking around mainly on the net so far, but I happened to stop at a workout world shop today and saw a 2.5hp Machine with a wireless heart rate control thingy - Avanti Xfit280 Treadmill $2499.00 (RRP $3599?)

And I'm also looking at the Avanti EXM 1950 Home Gym $1599.00 (RRP 2299.00?)

Apparently they will come out and deliver it and set it all up and have a personal trainer do a program for me as well all included in the $150 delivery price.

Since I have zero idea about fitness equipment, can anyone tell me if this is ok and if it's going to be everything I need to get me trim, taut, and terrific! (I'm hoping I'm not the only one old enough to remember that ad)

Workout World are usually overpriced so post a link to each of the products and I'll see if I can sort anything out with the people I know. The only difference being that you may have to set it up yourself.

Could save you a few hundred dollars though.

They seem to only be available from Workout World, or some place that's written entirely in Chinese.

I'll get back to you. It says the TV screen is optional, are you planning on getting it?

I hadn't thought about it - I guess It would be a nice feature if it isn't ridiculously priced - I was thinking about putting a TV up in front of the tready though

As long as it's really cheap, yeah. You just need to be sure you'll get the warranty and parts you may need later.

I spoke to my friend and he actually has access t that exact model (Avanti treadmill) so he's getting back to me with his best price

    Stay tuned......:)

    Re: Setting up at Home

    G'day Guys,

I too am looking at the Avanti 280 Treadmill. It looks like a great model and has a great warranty (10 years on motor & 3 years on parts). I have bought from Workout World before and the have always given me great service. Just wondering if you can put me in touch with whoever it is that sells them for $2499.00. Any help would be great.

    Thanks,

    Marcus
