    Re: Keeping on

Hospital Dr check-up tomorrow.  Yes, Alison, lots of tiredness and I'm napping and setting the alarm clock so I get up for pick-up time.  Trying to create space where it doesn't exist in the house.  We've got a list of possible names.  We're excited but with healthy dose of 'here we go again!'  My snoring is so bad at the moment (I have a cold as well!) that Andy is looking for something to make him sleep through it.  I've been sleeping so solidly that he can't 'wiggle' the bed and stir me enough to stop.  These daytime naps might help, other than that, not much longer to go and something else will be disturbing his sleep!

    Re: Keeping on

I had to insist the Dr give me antibiotics to clear this secondary chest infection from the cold I've got...I just don't want to chance coughing fits through a spinal block and recovery from abdominal surgery.  Other than that, all about normal.  BP 140/85.  I've got my GP on Wednesday for my last check-up.

I've noticed today that I'm not panicked about the op or recovery or the newborn issues that happen like sleeping and feeding.  I pretty much know what to expect and I'm comfortable.  Just going to enjoy my last week of pregnancy.

Hi Lorna! Wow, so close!!! I can't believe how fast this has come around, for ME anyhow! LOL! Glad to hear you are feeling comfortable about what is to come, the more kids you have, the easier it gets! (For the most part!). Make sure you are resting as much as you can!

    Re: Keeping on

I keep thinking this time next week we'll have met the nameless person.  I think we'll name him when we see what/who he looks like.  Very tired, I must say, and I think both baby and I are ready.  Baby's cramped for space.  Pregnancy has felt like an eternity.  I have your number in my phone so I'll probably give you a call the day after and give you a few details so you can post something for me!

    Re: Less than a week!

Yes, it's getting very REAL now!  Finalising movements of children for next week, packing and unpacking bags, karma says I'll forget something.  Gee, I'm not even worried about it (the procedure, the breastfeeding ouch, the recovery), usually I've pickled myself in cortisol.  LOL.

GP check-up this morning, my last one, and BP 130/70 and gained 3kgs in two weeks, ping!, so that makes it 14kgs for the pregnancy which is in a normal range, and a damn sight better than the previous ones.  Good-sized baby and we're all looking forward to going googly-eyed at him!

Have a wonderful trip to both Kaz and Alison on your respective holiday adventures, may only the healthy foods be enticing!

    Re: Best Laid Plans

They had an influx of women over the weekend eager for Mothers Day babies and ran out of beds, plus a couple of emergencies and we've been bumped back to Wednesday.  Well, we still haven't figured out the name, Andy keeps changing his mind....

You must live in a very democratic household.

After being TOLD my suggestions were inappropriate I had no input in to children’s names.

    Hope it goes smoothly.
