I lost a rather drastic 1.9kgs this week. I even ate two pies for lunch today in a weak grumpy moment. So maybe Liam is hungry and that's why he's not making it through the night without a feed. And I am a bit like the walking dead at times. Hmm. Don't think I'm over-exercising. Think I'll make a big effort this week to tick off the food groups and make sure I'm getting enough for a breastfeeding mum. The ww booklets have a spot where you can tick off water, fruit, veg, etc, but they don't have a spot for carbs or protein due to the assumption that people generally overeat these and are unlike to need reminding to eat more of them. More hmmm. Anyhow, loving my exercise time, just did 15mins on the bike tonight, nice and hard. No stats, just for the fun of it.

Hi Lorna, That's a great result. It doesn't look as though you are pushing yourself too hard in the sessions, so maybe you're just moving alot throughout the day. I agree that you should check that you're eating enough though, as broken sleep and low food intake can be a bad mix. Ray

WTG LL!
You are going great guns! Yes it is very hard to organise kids and exercise..but it will all fall into place. It just takes a little more planning sometimes. Do ensure you are eating enough yes...as you'll know with breastfeeding it does make one ravenous and you need all the goodies you can get...for both of you.

Yes, will be more vigilant about food groups this week and see how we fare (because there's two of us to think about). - M: 5-grain mini wheats and lite milk, D-Lite yogurt, coffee
- L: whole can baked beans and two grainy toast with 2 tsps marg, banana, tea.
- AT: orange.
- D: probably spaghetti bolognese in bowl to control portion size
Have only had a couple of gulped cups of water at the sink today so will pick up my water intake. I might have a glass of lite milk later tonight to keep my dairy up.

Such a nice evening, I took the dog walking. It's pretty much flat along the busy road (it was getting dark so I stick to well-used roads). 36mins, avg hr 113, max hr 134, cals 206. Mum took my eldest and his friend plus my toddler to Ringwood Lake and gave me FOUR hours off. Gees, she's good for 73! I cleaned out kids underwear, clothes drawers and shoes. One of those jobs I just couldn't get to. Big gold star for Nana.

Lost 0.2kgs this week which is nice and stable after last weeks big loss. Very pleased with that. So aiming for between 0.5 and 1kg this week. Mmmmm, baking a nice lamb roast tonight. Looking forward to an omelette without cheese for lunch (always had cheese on everything and it's not on the core plan, think that's made a difference). Exercise for the last 3-4 days has been light, I walked the dog one night, walked the pram another night, did bike another time. Missed last night because the meeting ran overtime and when I got home, Andy had a baby waiting for me. Planning to get sweaty with the tready tonight, after the roast!

Considered getting something to eat from the shops today because I've been here, there and everywhere, but really wasn't very interested in eating chips and whatever. I'd have to say that my pyschological apetite is smaller, I don't really 'feel' like eating it. I wanted what I'd made for my son's lunch, which was a hamburger roll with shaved chicken lettuce and beetroot. I've had two! Lost 0.6kgs last night, so quite happy with the results. These trackies are a bit looser. Feeling positive about losing the weight and keeping on going. Liam is 5 months old today.

All heavy licence drivers have to do a fatigue management course and get doctor checkup according to new legislation recently passed. Andy told me that it (the online education course) encourages use of Red Bull and such, and that if you're using amphetimines to be sure to get the doctor to prescribe them, not from the nightclub. Really sends a good message about how to work yourself into the ground, eh! On completing the course, he will be permitted to work 14 hour days, not just 12 hour days! (Because we all would like to work for 14 hours a day because we love it so much!) Yes, lots of sarcasm. Anyhow, he had his checkup last night and his BP was 140/100 so the first thing I said was that he has pre-eclampsia! Heehee. Doc wants to see him again in a month and possibly discuss medication - so that was his rude shock last night - although nothing compared with Chris's! He's indicated that he's going to try and drop some weight and maybe get on the tready (have to fight me for it!). I did 30mins last night at 5.5kph with 5mins on incline 6, avg hr was 123, max hr 146.

Wtg on the good losses Lorna! I hope your Dh can get his BP under control! That course sounds interesting! A friend is a long haul truckie and the stories he tells! Enough to make your hair curl! Keep up the good work! I hope you and dh can work out a way to share the treadmill without resorting to bodily harm (his not yours!) How can your baby Liam be 5 months already!!??
