    Re: Week 5

Am back on the wagon so to speak.  Yesterday I managed to save 3 points- only had 20 out of 23 points in food and I went for a walk at lunchtime and I had dessert after dinner.

I've made the effort to prepare heaps of healthy food for lunch (this was my problem last week- eating too much crap at work).  So I am prepared for the snack attack.

That is great, Nat, especially the part about being prepared. makes all the difference!

    Re: Week 5

According to the official Weight Watchers scales I've lost 6.9kg in 6 weeks.  On Rose's scales I've lost 7.4kg in 6 weeks.  All up I guess losing's losing- so far I've lost approximately 14 tubs of margarine as my workmate Maggie would say.

Actually someone at work commented the other day that I've gotten taller- must be the weight loss.

    Week 7

Finally I made it to my first goal- to relose the 7kg I lost last year and put back on again.  Total loss after 7 weeks on Weight Watchers is 7.3kg.  Am officially the skinniest I've been in years.

Thanks guys!  I must admit Easter Sunday I fell off the wagon with a rather loud thud.  Was shocked that the scales went down this week.

    Re: Week 7

Well I've been like a kid in a lolly shop all week buying smaller clothes.  I've actually been able to go into 'normal' shops and not have to go to the larger sizes section to buy clothes.  Total loss to date is 8kg in 8 weeks.

    Re: Week 7

Today I took all my old clothes that are too big to Lifeline.  Because I am never going to wear them again and there's no point having them in my cupboard anymore.  I am so looking forward to going shopping in Melbourne on my birthday.

Hey Nat, congratulations on your progress! Your excitement in your post in the rewards thread made me smile - what a great feellng that must be!

So when you come to Melbourne do you have all your shopping info sorted out? If you need any suggestions let me know - am pretty good at shopping (for me and my friends who shop in normal size stores).

I'd love any shopping suggestions.  I don't have any shopping plans yet...I only know flights & hotels so far.  Only definites I know so far are Lygon St & Queen Victoria Markets.  Have also been informed there's an outlet type place somewhere close to the city.
