Re: Jane, Mondee Mornin'!
That's very sad, Jane, I'm glad you stepped in and got involved though. Do you remember an elderly man passed away at Croydon station a few years ago and it was days before anyone noticed, actually it was the parking inspector. its great that youre exploring new recipes and fresh approaches.

Thanks Lorna! All seems OK! Have been very busy, painting architraves and skirting boards, stripping doorframes etc...... Just collected youngest from school, he ha banged his head by falling backwards off his chair, OUCH! Also have to get packing, I am off tomorrow morning to fly to Newcastle, hopefully catching up with ray to say G'day while there. Going for a GTG of about 20-25 women who all met online, it happens annually, but this is the first time I have made the effort!

Looking forward to it, Raymond! Yep, I am posting at 4.30am. I could not sleep and I am sure all my tossing and turning is keeping Chris awake.......... My lower bck is really sore, not sure why, but I am guessing it is coccyx/sacrum related - guess that rules out cannoeing this weekend! I can live with that!!! So I am sitting here sipping chamomile tea while my electric blanket heats up, then I will climb back into bed for a cuple of hours before resurfacing. Have a great weekend all!

Happy Monday all! I am SO tired, had a fabulous weekend in Newcastle! Bit more wine and nibblies than is generally considered the "right" amount, but it was perfect for the occassion! 24 women from all walks of life together, asif there is NOT going to be food and wine in copious amounts? LOL! Raymond, HUGE thanks for the session on Saturday, lovely to see you and Carol and Jess (and I am SO sorry about the Nazi child being SO bossy!), and a very sarcastic Thanks for all those jumping related exercises, too. Geez......... The other girls really enjoyed the session, too, so a pat on the back and another hug for that! And then even more for being such a stellar volunteer photographer, the group shots have come out fabulously, at least the ones I have seen! Did you nad Carol get red wine and chocolate for that night???? I did........... LOL! I came back CRAVING good foods! Just ate a divine orange............ On we go!

aussiejane: "What is the point"'s, because let's face it, I am going to lose fitness (what little I have!) after the Op, so why bother?
Perhaps you should think that the fitter you are the faster and less complicated your recovery will be.

Howdy Jane, I think you're doing fine. Sometimes things rattle your routine, but you do hit your stride again at some stage. Point is, you actually do generally have a healthy lifestyle, and this is what you settle back into after a setback. You've achieved something that lots of others are struggling to establish. It's time for me to start doing amassing some treadmill time, yay!

15 minutes of running intervals, 10 minutes on the treadclimber, 10
minutes on the elliptical and then 5 to cool down on the treadmill. How
do i feel? Bloody Marvelous! Positive, energetic and really glad I
went. and the kids had a ball at Kidzfit!
Now dinner is cooking, the kids are all doing quiet things because they
are happy as larks after doing physical activity, and all is
magnificent in my home! Lorna, the excellent thing about you having a Trev of your own, is that you can do little spurts so easily! how cool is that? I am reminding myself of this for after my surgery. I am lucky to have Trev to help me! LOL! Thanks for your words, appreciate the positive reinforcement!

Did OK yesterday, if you discount hormones! I think I am getting back to some form of control now, I am, if nothing else, back to THINKING. Had horrible period pains last night (sorry guys, TMI I am sure!) but used my grey matter and walked on Trev for 40 minutes. Not too fast, just to get moving. It does help, but I am thankful after this month it as all over Red Rover (Oh! Look! An unintentional pun!!!). After dinner I had a couple of bikkies and a small yoghurt, a vast improvement. Onto today! B: Protein Plus Cereal, skim milk warmed up, and it was great!) MT: banana L: Toasted chicken, cheese and mayo sandwich, Soy bread. AT: Small peice light choc cake D: Tuna Casserole S: yoghurt, 4 wafers. Exercise: again, Torturing Trev................
