As far as I am aware, Mel, Melbourne does not have much in the way of excellent vegetarian places to eat, does it??? You could hire another chef for the meat??? (Make sure it is a hunky man and life would be grand!!)

I think curry would be great for your dinner..................... ;)

    01/08/07

ah well I got home last night and my dad had bought me these curry things, so I ate those for tea...mum had also made me some green masala rice so had a little of that....it was good not to cook!

Training was good.  I did weights beforehand of the following then half an hour of boxing.  Sprinting at hockey was interesting because I went into a higher running group and was leading the group....I never, ever lead the group.  So my running has improved over just three weeks of doing these runs! :D

Weights routine was this last night:

    • lunges 20 x 3 each leg
    • bench chest press 20 x 3 20kgs plus bar
    • lat pull down 20 x 3 40-50 lbs
    • db chest flyes 20 x 3 5kgs plus bar
    • db shoulder press 15 x 3 5kgs plus bar
    • tricep push down 20 x 3 35-40 lbs
    • biceps 20 x 3 5kgs plus bar
    • leg extensions 20 x 3 10kgs
    • leg curls 20 x 3 21 kgs

    Today's efforts:

brekky: toffee apple and sultana porridge

    lunch: green masala rice

dinner: unsure, maybe ma po tofu tonight!

    snacks:  banana, golden kiwi fruit

drinks: skinny latte, water, homemade coffee and tea

exercise: 7.5 km run around the yarra

    03/08/07

A little sore today...muscle fatigue has kicked in and I'm struggling whether I should go for a run (ignore the fatigue and push through) or go for a  massage.  I can get a massage tomorrow anyway, so I'm working towards doing the run today.

Training last night was good, I played on the field....I took myself and someone else out, although I came out alright and did my weights and boxing also.  During the running it was obvious that I had muscle fatigue in the legs...just couldn't get the pace but oh well!

    Today's efforts:

    • brekky: scrambled eggs with cheese and chives on wholemeal toast
    • lunch: four mushrooms soup (recipe on site) with two pieces bread
    • dinner: pasta of some sort (heading out before the doggies match)
    • snacks: banana, fuji apple
    • drinks: skinny latte, homemade coffee and tea, water
    • exercise: 7.5 km run around the yarra

This weekend, I've got the cooking class tomorrow morning again, then hockey, may get a massage inbetween or see a movie...then probably do some weights before resting on sunday (seeing a friend who's just had a baby)...
