    Thanks Mel for your reply. So you feel better for being a Vego and do you believe it has helped with your weight loss?

    Sorry to hear the hand is still giving you trouble. I read about your knuckle injury the other day. Good luck with the ultrasound tomorrow. I know how frustrating it is when you are not allowed to exercise - you poor thing - anyway - hang in there and get creative - what about wrist weights?

    I wouldn't say it's helped me with my weight loss!  You can still eat fattening foods on a vegetarian diet.  You don't eat a lot of fast food though....

    I feel healthier from eating no meat and feel better knowing I'm not contributing to killing animals for food...but yeah, I would say you could put on weight with any type of diet and you need to watch your food intake with everything...

     

    it's all about energy in, energy out... nothing else!

    Hey guys no tendon damage, but there's a lot of fluid so I'm not sure what that means...I'll be going to see the doc tomorrow

    hehe sorry guys no tendon damage...but fluid on the knuckle had strong inflamms for 10 days and no weight exercise...seems ok atm but need to test it next week with some weights....light to begin with...

     

    I have been doing cardio though...5 days in a row! :D

    Well done on the Cardio, great stuff, for the mind, too!! I am really happy there is no tendon damage, too. Hope the weights work out for you! My arms are weak ATM, I have to raise a stick above my head as part of the physio for my shoulder, and it feels like a ton!!!

    Just thought I'd do a quick catch up in your journal. How is the weightloss going? Are you back to where you left off before?

    I'm still trying to get back to my original loss after putting 6kgs back on. It's proving quite difficult as I don't seem to be able to keep that long lost drive I once had.

     How are you going with your PT course ?

    hmmmm, anyway...hope the hand is better.

    Hey there Mel,

    Good on you for doing the cardio - and great news about no tendon damage. Just take it easy and dont do the weights before you are cleared (YES MISS RUBY !) - like I know you are just busting to get back into your routine ( frustrating I know !)
