    Re: Back on the Horse...

back is really quite tender at the moment. physio on friday, can't wait.

managed a walk last night with hubby, and did about 40 minutes cardio this morning. not enough, but better than nothing.

    Re: Back on the Horse...

well on top of my 50 minute tready session yesterday, i went for a big (painful) walk with my girlfriends last night, bringing me up to 2 hours of walking yesterday.
problem is, my foot is now sooooo paining that i can barely stand let alone walk on it. i'm just now waiting for the clock to tick over to 8am so i can book in for the second cortisone injection, hopefully tomorrow. i was going to wait until march/april holidays, but there's no way i can last that long. fingers crossed i can get in tomorrow...

i feel really good about the exercise (all cardio) i've been doing. i just wish i didn't have the pain. the cyst is still in the plantar fascia, and the pf itself is extremely inflamed, possibly worse than before, but maybe that's part of the healing process it needs to go through...??!!!!

anyhoooo bring on 8am.... and a perfectly timed appointment!

    kaz xx

How have you gone with those other exercises I've given you?

If they're not suitable let me know

    Re: Back on the Horse...

so far so good but only done it once... just being very careful with a couple of them, so i don't aggravate the back... i've also picked up a pilates dvd so i'm trying to mix it up and do a range of gentle & different things...physio tomorrow... assuming i can get this foot sorted. doesn't look good for an appt til after next week :( boooo hiss

    Re: Back on the Horse...

That's a shame about the appointment, you sound like one big 'ouch' atm, lol.  All that walking has got to be doing you good though.

    ok soooo

i've had dd home sick (she's back today) and on antibiotics. now i am feeling it too, and so is hubby.
    i've quit smoking, yay hypnosis...
and my foot is soooo sore but anyway, i haven't been able to get in earlier, so appointment still stands at tuesday morning.

since i won't be at gym for about 10 days, and then i'm in tassie for a while with mum & dad, i have held over my membership for the month... that's cool i just know i had 2 good weeks into it again post sore back, and now i'm out again for another 4 weeks. or thereabouts... argh.....

anyhooooo i guess once the foot heals up i'll be able again to hook into the dvds and once i can walk well - that too...

dh got some protein powder from the gym so i think i'll be having protein drink again as part of my restructured plan...

    hugs xx

    Re: injection...

I must admit all I could suggest is just make certain you stay away from any smokers.

Giving up smoking can be very challenging it also has huge health implications.
