    Re: 114.7 Kg again

Ah! See, one little comma in the right place and I would have understood! LOL! If you average that out, it is about 14kg a year, which is about 0.4 a weekish? People get frustrated by slow losses, but this is a great example of how it all DOES add up. Keep at it, tweak things here and there, it is working.

    Re: 114.7 Kg again

    114.7 Again this week.

Went “fishing” on the weekend and had little bother with my legs so perhaps this is a non scale victory I have a uni exam on the 23/6/2008 so we are keeping busy.

Purchased a GPS unit and it seems good once set up, the interface to enter the data seems clumsy.

All in all things are ok but it would be nice to be loosing more weight I haven’t been vomiting much the last 3-4 weeks.

    last week

    Hi People

    Forgot to weigh today.

    Generally had an unremarkable week.

I seem to be getting used to the band and have been throwing up less.

Throwing up is quite different to pre-band it seems more like a wet cough.

I seem to have finally recovered from my attempt at going to the gym and my knee has settled enough that most days are pain free.

Presently I am wondering how to find a gym that is not intent on smashing us up but still provide potential for steady improvement.

I am curious if personal trainer school indoctrinates people with no pain no gain and that people need to be athletic philosophy.

The canoeing coach cancelled for last Sunday he was still recovering from his 200 Km paddle last weekend.

Generally I am sick of winter already I suppose the shortest day is next weekend.

Purchased an almond tree last weekend (my wife likes nuts).

    busy busy

    Life has been busy.

Uni exams are over (until November any way).

My aunt died Saturday this was sad but not surprising she was in her late 80’s and had not been that well recently.

    Enjoying the canoeing.

I am still getting used to the extra restriction of the band.

I now seem to find bread very challenging to keep down.

Had asthma issues and have been on prednisone so presently I am feeling a bit wired.

Munchies with a gastric band seem interesting.

Hopefully I can start reducing the dose tomorrow.

Not a great surprise but not what I am hoping for.

Went canoeing on the weekend going into the wind was a challenge so I got a good workout.

    Uni holidays are nice.

See the band doctor on Tuesday.

    Re: 118.7

Canoeing is a weather dependent activity and so far it has only been one per week.

The weather in Adelaide has not been very cooperative the last few weeks I hope to increase the canoeing to 2-3 times per week in the near future.

We have noticed an improvement with my endurance at canoeing.

The canoe club membership for the financial year and so it didn’t offer great value to join in June and they were happy to give me a few freebees. Wink

    Re: 113.8

113.8 is what the scales said this morning certainly that was a pleasant surprise.

Got my exam results yesterday a fail a not so pleasant surprise.

I will investigate the exam result.

I had a bit more fill in the band last Tuesday.

I must remember not to take my son in future he was a little to honest with the band doctor on the types of food in the house.

Sometimes I wonder if my wife thinks chocolate is one on the essential food groups.Huh?

Generally things have been good the winter weather has been a generally poor (like winter generally is) it would be nice to have some calm weather.

On investigation it seems my exam was not marked.

The lecturer is overseas at the moment.

So maybe that $1,500 hasn’t been a waste after all.  Party!!!
