    Vitamins, supplements etc

Anyone know of a good vitamin tablet? I was asked recently if I had ever really looked into this side of things and it got me curious. I just investigated Zinc for example and found the RDA is about 12-18g, yet my diet possibly only averages 4g a day. so, anyone know of a good, basic multi vitamin that they reccomend?

basic multivitamin that i've found to be one of the best is centrum which you can get anywhere.

otherwise you could consult a naturopathy herbally kind of person, but there's a lot covered in the centrum...

The dietician I saw suggested get the cheapest and if there is a choice of cheapies get the one with the most iron in it.

The iron is expensive to put in and it is something that people tend to get low on.

    So he said.

    12g-18g of zinc ?

    They will be big pills.

Or are you starting a galvanizing factory?

Or is it milligrams or micrograms?

Assuming you have a moderate diet you will get some vitamins from your food and you may just need a top up.

If you are concerned about zinc can you could increase your intake of foods with zinc in them.

Oh DUH! Of course it is NOT grams! LOL! Although I HAVE been trying to find a way of earning a little on the side.....................

I looked at foods with Zinc, and I don't tend to eat alot of the types that have a decent amount in them.

Not a bad idea, if I did not hate dogs.................

I am actually considering taking a course in Phlebotomy next year, it is not too hard to get hours that are part time, which would be good for me with 3 kids in Primary School. And I suspect therapeutic, too...........

    Re: Vitamins, supplements etc

Since you are into weight training you should take a multi-vitamin with amino acids, minerals and antioxidants. The amino acids will help build your body mass. You should choose a vitamin which is liquid so that it is more easily digested. Powders which mix with water are excellent. Try MultiVescence.

    Re: Vitamins, supplements etc

Hi Everyone. I have some information about Source Naturals which I want to share with you guys.

Source Naturals was founded by C.E.O. Ira Goldberg in 1982. At that time, the kind of nutritional formulations he envisioned -- for both the maintenance of well-being and the enhancement of life -- simply did not exist. Although commonplace today, the idea of using many different nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, herbs, amino acids, and nutraceuticals in one formulation was a rarity. Source Naturals (source naturals) pioneered the category with the introduction of Wellness Formula, now the industry most popular natural immune support product. Subsequently, we have produced numerous best-selling formulas, such as Life Force Multiple, Positive Thoughts, Liver Guard, Mental Edge and many more at http://www.nutrovita.com/brand/1/source-naturals.htm

I hope this information will be useful for you guys.

    Have a nice day.
    Thanks.
