Re: Wednesday 16th January - How quickly the year is going already

Went out for that walk. What a beautiful night.  The temp was around 37 degrees today so I was inside most of the day, but at about 8.30 as the sun was getting low in the sky I got out.  Swooping maggies and all the sky was the most beautiful shades of pink and red.

There is a warm warm wind blowing tonight.  The kind that makes you think that somewhere something sinister is going on.  Maybe I've just got that image from some scary movie or from a childhood evening where I was scared.  Really balmy but dry, and crickets and cicadas as loud as traffic.

Anyway, its only 27 degrees now so much nicer for a bit of exercise.

Saw this on the Top Stories of News.com.au and was wondering what you all would think of this trick???

Bitter drink up ... a new book reveals some of the bizarre lengths Hollywood stars go to to lose weight, including Heidi Klum and Cindy Crawford who sip vinegar before meals to suppress their appetites.

    Breakfast: Yoghurt with banana

Snack:       Piece of Chocolate filled, Chocolate covered, Chocolatey Choco Chocolate cake, large

    Snack:       Nothing
    Dinner:      Nothing

    Snack:       Nothing

Water:      heaps in the morning then had 1 bottle of Yellowglen Pink and ½ bottle of Brown Brothers Muscato in the evening.  Pizza was the meal of the night but I couldn't stomach it.

Well what's to be said about that.  Nothing really other than I have to own it.  If I just write down the good days and not the unhealthy days then how will I learn anything.  So here it is.

    Saturday 19th January

    Food Diary:

Breakfast: 3 Wheatbix with Skim Milk and honey

Snack:       2 slices of toast with vegemite and marg

Lunch:       4 KFC Crispy strips with a handful of chips

    Snack:       Apple
Dinner:      Grilled Snapper with Berry and Red Onion sauce.  (Home made a la Jo and it was really yum)  If anyone has any nice fish recipes let me know

    Snack:       Yoghurt

Water:      loads and loads today funnily enough after the wine last night

Much better day today I feel.  I was conscious of overcompensating for yesterdays missed meals too much but knew I needed to catch up a bit.  As expected I was really hungry for much of the morning.  Anyway, no exercise today because its been raining all day yeahhhhhhhh.  Pretty weak excuse really because I could have gone to the gym or the indoor pool.  But we’ll see about tomorrow won’t we.  If I do go tomorrow then that’s 3 sessions for the week and that’s meeting a good minimum.  I’ll definitely have to do something!!!

    Re: Sunday 20th January

LOL... not wrong.  I don't know ... some of the cheap and nasty wines I've tasted over Chrissy/New Years had that 'I should have been vinegar' taste to them. hehe

I think I'll stick to low fat, high protein. :-)

    Re: Sunday 20th January

    Hi Jo,

You're going really well. You've just come through a tough time of year and whilst it may not have been perfect, you have got back into it straight away (before it becomes a real problem!)

May be time to up your minimum to 4 times per week too! Whip

    Monday 21st January

    Food Diary:

Breakfast: 2 slices toast with extra light philly and tuna

    Snack:       nothing

Lunch:       toasted ham n pineapple focasia with chips & a shandy

    Snack:       nothing
Dinner:      sausage in bread rissole in 2 slices with sause

    Snack:       Yoghurt

Water:      ?? not as much as I should’ve

We went to the in-laws to Harvey’s Fish n Fun Park today.  Well it looks great from the outside but as soon as you pass through the admission area things change dramatically.  We couldn’t believe how dirty and run down things were the place has really been let go.  Anyway, we wandered about for awhile and fed the fish and went for a ride on the train to see some sad and sorry looking farm animals out the back and went somewhere else for lunch.

I had my weigh-in last night… 2.9 off.  Great but I don’t really understand what’s been going on over the last 3 weeks.  Probably more to do with feeding Ethan than anything else.  We’ve been introducing solids so breastfeeding has been different.  The last couple of days he’s been rejecting outright which has been a worry but the ABA website and forums have been a blessing and last night he had 2 huge feeds in his sleep so I’m able to relax a bit today.

    Re: Monday 21st January

Sometimes I think that over analiseing things achieves little.

You are a third of the way to your goal be happy.

Just don’t use this as excuse to jump off the wagon and go on a feeding frenzy.

    Tuesday 22nd January

    Food Diary:

    Breakfast: yoghurt

Snack:       2 slices toast with extra light philly and tuna

Lunch:       Toasted Ham Salad and Cheese sandwich with Wedges and Sour Cream

    Snack:       Fruit Salad
Dinner:      Chicken Mince with vegetable omelette

    Snack:       2 apples

    Water:      4 x 600mls

Out of the house is impossible for me.  I just want to be able to sit down and choose something to eat that will be healthy.  I just don’t seem to be able to pick it.  At the pub yesterday I wasn’t really thinking at all when the picking time came, even though before hand I’d been thinking about eating out and picking something healthy and nutritious.  Today we went to the bakery for lunch and I thought I was picking a nice salad sandwich.  She asked me if I wanted it toasted and when it came out it was more like a BLT.  The stupid Wedges and SC were for Caitlyn and then when she didn’t want to eat them I didn’t want to waste the money.  Stupid again… JUST THROW THEM OUT!!!!!  LEAVE THEM.   GET THE WAITRESS TO TAKE THEM AWAY!!!!

Anyway, I’ve made a Chicken and Tarragon Meatloaf from the CSIRO book for tea tomorrow night so that is going to be a good choice.

I walked up the street this morning with the kids in the double pram and really paced it out on the way up.  I then walked around town doing various jobs etc ended up being from 11am until 3pm then I pacey marched home again singing in my head ‘When Johnny Come Marching Home Again’ unfortunately I only know the first line so that was pretty funny after about 10 mins.

Ethan was feeding much better today. After using a couple of dream feeds overnight I was much more relaxed and determined to battle on.  Feeling really good I could incorporate some real exercise into the day because I had the car and could have driven.  Its funny really because if DH had taken the car to work I probably would have thought it all too hard and stayed home. hehe

Lol, I know what you mean with the song. When Adro and I were training together we got one of Odessa's songs stuck in our head on one run....."Galloooooomp went the little green frog last night..."

    Pretty funny

    Water:      4 x 600mls

Ethan is really getting into the reverse Break dancing at the moment.  He flips himself almost immediately onto his belly and then using his legs at right angles he spins himself round and round and rolls over to a new spot and goes round and round until he’s played with everything and is wanting to move to another room at which point he calls me. LOL.  I so wish they stayed this way forever.

Lots of laundry, dishes, sweeping and vacuuming today, but it is nice to be able to put Ethan to sleep with Caitlyn at Childcare and just sit under the air-conditioner for awhile.

The dog is going off his head tonight so I’ll take her for a walk round the block, actually she usually takes me.  Perhaps I'll use the Gallooooomp froggie song as a pace maker tonight

Is there a difference? Do they both still exist

Hi Ray,  just looking at these two different pages.

     http://www.trainingdiary.ws/    http://www.free-online-health.com/exercise-mealplans.htm

Does the $66 version still exist as well as the free tool?  What is the difference exactly?
