Just curious, Exchange rate at the moment means it would be ALOT cheaper than buying them here! Any input?

If my memory serves me right (and if it did it would be the first time!), I recall shoes being expensive and not great quality. At the time, I would be comparing them to prices/quality of shoes in the UK, but I think that's roughly the same as here.

i buy mine from www.sheplers.com (hubby usually goes into the stores themselves when he's over there) but then you ought to know that since i love my cowgirl boots so...

i've recently invested in some planet shoes, they're really nice & comfy. got them from myer.

I've been looking at some US sites as well ,as I need new joggers again.

The US dollar is quite good atm

On sale Brooks Ariel (approx $78)

Shipping US$28

US$107 which is approx AUD $117

Not a bad saving considering I paid over $230 for my Brooks Addictions last year!

Surely the US sizing on my shoes would be the same sizes they use there considering they are all made in the same place (i.e China!?)

Worst case scenario..whack em' on Ebay!

My son is off to New York soon so might be worth me waiting...he could post them to me, then again relying on sons...another problem LMAO

there's usually a button on websites that says contact us.

maybe you could shoot them an email as they would logically get these kind of queries on a regular basis.

That shoebuy site above ships internationally Jane. It's US$28 to ship to Australia.

I find most site have international shipping details.If they don't it's generally because the don't ship o/s.

WOW thats a bargain! I hope they work out fine Jane! Did you order the size in US that's on your old shoes!? I just went to find out what size my Brooks Addiction 7's are...and the friggin writing has worn off the tongue label...so can't find out and I don't want to guess! Bummer...will have to go to Foot Locker or someone now for a try on and then research online . Might take a look at the Ariels instead of another pair of Addictions. The platform sole never feels really right for me.
