    Priscilla, Queen of the Dessert

Ok so I'm not entirely sure what to write here.
I'm an 18 year old chick who's never been the conventional 'health junkie'. Coming from a European family, the whole 'let's eat til we feel sick and tired' approach to food is quite celebrated, and it hasn't exactly helped me healthwise. I'm 84kgs and 165cm, and whilst I don't resemble a beached whale I feel it. Last year I had my gall bladder removed, and I was in denial until now with the fact that it needed to be removed because of all my naughty food indulgences and subsequent rejections of those grey foods aka fruit and vegetables. Watching John last night on the Biggest Loser made me realise that obesity is an issue no matter how old or young you are, and I want to be fit and healthy so I can be the best daughter, sister, student and friend to those around me without feeling pudgy and hopeless 99% of the time. I thank Ray for this site because it is a Godsend. These days people like to bank on the misery and insecurity of others and I am glad to say that Ray is an exception for having this free site up for us people who just want to better ourselves and our outlooks on life. Reading all the posts on here has been incredibly inspiring and I hope to join you all on a successful journey to better health and wellbeing =)
