Due to the increased intensity when putting the jogging in, you'd burn more calories if done over the same time period

    Hi Ray!

Ok.... My question is meters in ratio to steps. What would they be considered? Is one meter one step? I have never been able to figure this out! lol I speed walk now at 14 mins and 36 secs a mile. So adding a few jogging steps won't be a problem to me.

Not everything is as it appears.

    Hi Fatchick,

Everyone's steps are a different length but I'd estimate that on average there would be about 2 steps to a metre. It's best to work on time intervals as it's much easier to measure.
