Great to see how you plan that exercise, Jen. I might have to take a leaf out of that book, once i am able to more than just walk!

    Re: 19/09/07

Well last week didn't plan out like I had hoped but nevertheless ... But I am getting some bling if you know what I mean.  Anyway, Its a new week.

So tonight I'm meeting up with my PT in approx 2hrs for my first torture sesssion in a while.  Haven't seen her since she moved to FF and that's where I will be meeting up with her.  Now it looks like my PT sessions are going for 1hr (don't know how on earth I am going to get up all my stairs when I finish - live on the 3rd floor).  I know she will train me hard and its going to HURT especially since I didn't go to the gym all last week - bugger and I've been eating a bit of crap - double bugger.

Then on Saturday we have a group outdoors Session for 1hr, not bad for $20.

Onwards and upwards ... 7 teaching weeks till I finish Tafe (not that I'm counting).

Hey Jen, I know what it feels like to get back to the gym after a week off.  Its a real killer - but we know its so worth it (pain is gain!)

We just moved recently into a upstairs/downstairs unit and after a workout I almost have to crawl up the stairs!

    Re: 20/09/07

    Yep, sure hurts doesn't it.

Had my PT Session last nite for 1HR focusing on ARMS - Biceps, chest everything that my poor muscles use to be able to cope with that I now can't.  I was doing a mix of 5kg and 2.5kg weights till she thought I was doing one move too easy and decided to give me 7.5kg's, lets just say I only did a few and it killed me whilst doing it.  My arms feel toner from it.  Then she wanted me to do a spin cycle class but I bailed.  Next time ...

Anyway, better stop procrastinating at work ...

    Re: 25/09/07

Well I have taken the plunge.  I have quit Fernwood to go to Fitness First.  Still have one month till I can fully move but at least I will have more variety of classes which I am keen to do and can do aqua at rockdale, so cheering about that when summer rolls around.

After the PT Session last week, my arms were so sore come the friday that I was finding it difficult to carry the groceries. But now its all good and I am raring to go except I had to cancel tomorrows session as its TTOTM and well I have no energy but I will be doing a session with her next week where she is ready to work me hard and I'm looking forward to it.

Can't wait till this week is over and for the public holiday on Monday.  It means I have 2 weeks off Tafe (hooray) and so I plan on focusing on getting back to my fitter days and trying to work on food especially since my toobs incident yesterday which I won't speak of.  Will need to focus on my tracking as I have not been doing this of late and clearly this shows, so back to basics AGAIN.

Toobs! Blast from the past! LOL!

Good on you for joining hte gym you think will work for you! I got a letter from Fernwood yesterday, saying they have introduced more flexible memberships. Funnily, no mention of details! LOL! I DO miss the Les Mills Body Balance class, though!

    Have a great day!

    Re: 26/09/07

Yep, back 2 basics.  You always need to ... Well so far so good, haven't had any toobs.  They are very addictive and nice you know.

I am going out tonight with some friends from high school days which should be interesting.  Haven't seen them in over 10yrs and well a couple of us are meeting up for dinner at Coogee which should be noice!  So that means no exercise today.  Although I must of slept incorrectly cuz my right side is so sore, especially the neck area, so just as well I didn't have the PT Session today.

    Anyway, all is well.

    Food so far for today....

    • No breaky - feeling sick
    • Morning Tea:  Cup of tea with those Paradise Vive Lites Minis - Triple Choc Cookies.  These are a small packed that is 520KJ / 2.4g fat; so not bad I thought.
    • 2 slices of Multigrain loaf with ham and cheese toasted
    • 4 freckles
    • A glass of pepsi max
    • Dinner - Don't know, going out - will try to make a good decision.

Normally breakky would be special k or some other cereal...

    Re: 2/10/07

All right that's it, time to get back on track properly.  I have told my bf that we are no longer to buy any crap, so that means no more toobs (oh how I luv that saucy taste, slap slap jen) and no more freckles. So time to focus on me a little and get back into shape.  I seem to struggle so much with my food. Exercise is fine although of late there hasn't been much action there but that's cuz Im not happy where I am but thats changing.  There really should be no excuse but ....

    Exercise:

    • Sat: Step Attack
    • Sun: Did nothing
    • Mon: Aqua class - was really good!!

    Plan for rest of week:

    • Tues: Cardio and some weights
    • Wed: PT Session 1hr
    • Thurs: Nothing, going shopping to get my bling - woo hoo
    • Fri: Cardio, weights
    • Sat: Spin class
    • Sun: Shape class perhaps

    Food:

    • Cereal w/lite milk
    • 5 * country cheese biscuits
    • Pkt of paradise vive lites minis - triple choc cookies - 520KJ / 2.4g fat
    • 2 slices of Multigrain loaf with ham and cheese toasted
    • Vanilla Yoghurt
    • Dinner will be mum's homemade lasagne - drool!!

Should plan my food for the rest of the week.  Should be interesting considering my bf will be on night duty from Fri - Mon and I don't cook.  Bugger, should see what's on the menu at mum's place.

    Re: 5/10/07

Well all I can say is owie owie owie owie.  My quads/thighs are killing me.  I had a harsh PT Sess on Wednesday and well lets just say I can't walk down the stairs without looking like an idiot.  Even walking is a bit of a struggle.

Well today has been a bit of a shitty day.  It all started with having a bad nights sleep followed by waking up early.  Now I am not a morning person, so to wake up earlier than Im suppose to drives me insane but okay, that's life.  Then last night Brendan & I picked up an engagement ring and upon closer inspection this morning, found there was a very small chip on the inside of the band.  Now this could of happened whilst I was wearing it, but most likely not.  But anyway, the guy who made the ring is a perfectionist and is going to fix it which means we have to drop it in next week.  Luckily I noticed it so he can fix it in time.

Then I come to work with a mountain of paperwork which is driving me insane then only to get told off by a forwarder cuz Im not receiving her emails.  Well lets just say I put her in her place considering our client chooses to use them otherwise they can lose there work altogether, I don't mind.  Then having to deal with pain in the *** clients throughout the day has really tested me!  I can't say that I am annoyed just frustrated that the day is not over yet, but not long now.

Anyway, after having a busy day and everything else that has happened around here, the boss decided to order pizza which I succumbed too.  I had 4 slices of pizza, 3 slices of garlic bread and 1 cheese puff - so really not a smart thing to do but I just couldn't say no, why I wander????

Anyway, whats been done is done.  I plan on going to the gym tomorrow morning and then will meet up with my PT for coffee or whatever.  Anyway, better get back to this mad house here.

    Re: 11/10/07

Well haven't been to the gym since Saturday and feeling a bit bla.  Was suppose to have my PT Session last nite but changed it to Sunday cuz I have had a bit on.  Have managed to catch up with a friend from Cairns which was great, although the dinner choice probably wasn't (Gourmet Pizza Kitchen) but it was grand!  So the plan of attach for this week....

    • Thursday - Shopping (no exercise)
    • Friday - cardio 30mins and then study
    • Saturday - 1hr step attack
    • Sunday - PT Session
    • Monday and Tuesday - Tafe
    • Wednesday - Sat - Gym

Anyway, have worked out that its not long till I finish Tafe (Nov 12, but whose counting down).  Can't wait to finish and focus on my fitness properly.  Anyway, so its about 4.5weeks till exams (bugger!!, have sooooo much studying to do).  So basically the plan is to study but it turns out Oct seems to be full of social occasssions.  I have a friends 30th (we're doing lawn bowls which should be cool), mum and dad's 50th wedding anniversary and a reunion all in the same week so bugger again!  Hopefully it won't be too bad and I can get all my study done in enough time.  So basically something's going to have to take a kickback and you know what that it.  I do plan to go to the gym and try to eat well most of the times so hopefully I won't pay the price later on.

    Re: 11/10/07

hey there jen.. i had to have a chuckle at your not being able to walk properly after your training session on legs.. That was me 6 weeks ago..and thats me again today hahahaha i did an intense "abs" class the other day and instead of my abs being sore i cant twist coz my obliques are killing and so is my butt!! I guess it just makes you realise that you have to keep at it so you condition to it and dont have to ever feel that pain again haha!!

    Re: 15/10/07

Well I had a PT Session yesterday and boy was it a tough one.  She killed my arms and legs.  For one hr of torture and me pleading at one stage for a lighter weight of 8kg each hand whilst doing lunges (to which she laughed and said lower jen, cmon you can do it).  It was a good session but gee's, the most difficult part of working out I find is my upper body.  I have no strength but slowly gaining muscle.  Feeling a bit tight today so hopefully it won't be too bad tomorrow...

Anyway, back to Tafe tonight so no training... only 4weeks to go ... .

    Re: 23/10/07

Well its been a crazy week.  Been so busy with Tafe and social occassions that exercise and food have taken a step back.  Well so basically my food last week was SHOCKING!  I was eating so much crap and not satisfying anything until a couple of days I realised its hormonal and that I was needing salt, go figure.  Anyway, so Brendan and I went out on Saturday for dinner and well we indulged on fine italian cuisine and well at the end of it all, he proposed to me when we got home. So now I am the proud owner of a new shiny diamond ring (BLING BLING).

So the next few weeks are going to be busy.  Have to study for major exams and have lots of socialising events.  Have a reuinion on friday, sat is mum & dads 50th anniversary and the following friday we tell his parents that we're engaged as they are overseas at the moment.  So all good (not).  Stressing over the exams..... Just need to get thru the next few weeks and I will be sipping some wine come Nov 13!

Have a PT Session tomorrow nite which is going to hurt, she always does.  Looking forward to it somewhat except the pain of course.
