    Chocaholic's progress report

I think I was posting my weight in the scales section of another section during our initial comp, anyway, I can't find it, so I'll just put it here!!!

    Starting weight was 69.8kg

    Previous weight was 60.2kg

which jumped up to 60.8kg a couple of weeks ago

    today: 59.6kg

YES!!!!!!!!!! I haven't been in the 50's for about 3years, and I really wanted to be under 60 before the Coldplay concert tomorrow night, so I'm rapt!!!

I can fit into all my little clothes now, which is really nice!

Now I'm there, I hope to never go back above 60kg

    I'll stop waffling on now......Big Smile [:D]Alison

    Re: Chocaholic's progress report

Well, having fallen off that wagon a month ago, and having not weighed myself for 5 weeks, today is the day for a new start. Was very afraid stepping on those scales!!!

    Wieght up to.....61.1kg

So, I've put on 2.3kg during my month of gratuitous over eating

Really, it could have been so much worse, so I should be grateful......

still annoyed that I'm back over 60 kg, oh, well, time to jump back on that wagon BIG TIME!!!Wink [;)] Alison

    Re: Chocaholic's progress report

    Thanks for the encouragement guys!

No,no,no, though, aussiejane, it's NOT that I'm not happy about the way I look, it's , well, part of it IS the mental "under 60, or 70 ,or whatever it may be", but it's also very much that I have been eating SO badly, and I know- and FEEL how bad that is for my total health and well-being. Plus, I don't seem to be able to come off a period of reasonably strict good eating and then just eat a little bit of bad stuff, I seem to go from one extreme to the other, so I'm annoyed with myself for that. I'm hoping I can lose just a little bit more weight, then ,say, eat really well all week, and let myself go (not too much!) on the weekend, instead of losing the plot and  continuing to eat badly ad nauseum, so to speak!!!That's my plan, anyway.................Hmm [^o)]  Alison.

    Re: Chocaholic's progress report

ditto on the hot part - I would love to look like you!

as for the eating well on weekdays and eating crap on weekends...you can do it!  It's possible...look what you've done so far!  And think about how well you've done running...maybe you should try and focus that same determination...whatever worked for you...on your eating?

PS...I would love to know how you did get your running up! It's amazing....

    Re: Chocaholic's progress report

Alison, you are definitely the 'after' picture!  Well, goal is so close, but it's the hardest stretch.  And I know that feeling of eating what you really weren't meant to be eating, and the spiral effect.  Just get out of the situation if you can bodily remove yourself.  To have gotten to where you are, I think there's little I can tell you you don't already know.  Just knuckle down and work hard.  You'll get the balance right.

    Take care!
